In the previous post, I related how Hover were unable to provide the DNS entry held on file in any electronic format. Life is too short for cut and paste of a large number of records which demand high accuracy: chat gpt to the rescue.

Step 1: Screenshot the Hover configuration for the domain I want to move to AWS 53

Step 2: Save the screenshot as an image file

Step 3: Upload to Chat GPT and ask it to ‘please create the zone transfer file for the domain patrick.direct from the attached image’.

Step 4: Copy the output that Chat GPT generates into AWS, job done.
